About
the thesis studies the works and life of Giovanni Tarchagnota (1508-1566) scholar of Rome's antiquities with the pesudonym of Lucio fauno, Lucio Mauro and Andrea Palladio. He wrote also the Favola d'Adone (1550), in wich evidents are links to Ariosto and the madrigal production in Venice at the middle of XVI century and the Historie del Mondo, a world history very famous still in the XVIII century.
